Residents, businesses, churches and youth groups are taking back their streets by painting over the defaced and vandalized bus shelters of Ewa/Ewa Beach. There are several bus shelters through out the site that are severe eyesores and are in need of paint. We are asking for you or your group to be responsible in the upkeep of a bus shelter that you choose to adopt. Whenever it is defaced with graffiti, just go out and paint it over. We need everyone's help to clean up Ewa/Ewa Beach and to keep it clean!
The City & County of Honolulu Transportation Department, Public Transit Division, has generously supplied our Weed & Seed project with the correct type of paint and the supply items needed to get the job done. Most supplies needed, will be provided. If you or your group, business, school or church is interested in being a part of this Neighborhood Restoration Project, please call Reina Miyamoto at the Ewa Weed & Seed Office at 689-0168 or email at: weedseedewa@yahoo.com, or call Coby Lynn at 689-3219.
Have you noticed that a neighbor of yours has a lot of foot, bicycle, and/or vehicle traffic at all hours of the day and night?
How about smelling an odor of what smells like nail polish remover, or people that you don't recognize hanging around in your neighborhood or even finding little plastic "baggie" on the ground?
If you think that there is drug activity in your neighborhood, and you live within the Ewa Weed & Seed site, call the Officers at the Ewa Weed & Seed Detail at 692-4205 and we will follow up on your complaint. Please give us as much information as possible.
If you live outside of the Ewa Weed & Seed site, call the Narcotics/Vice Detail at 529-3101 and leave a detailed message. You can also anonymously submit information about suspected drug activity online using the Narcotics/Vice Suspicious Activity Form.
