Joint Warrant Operation nets 36 suspects

The Honolulu Police Department, U.S. Marshals Service, and Hawaii Fugitive Task Force (comprised of the Deputy U.S. Marshals and Hawaii State Sheriffs) conducted a joint warrant sweep operation on Oahu over three days. The operation began on August 20, 2013, and ended on Thursday.

The sweep targeted parole or probation violators and those with criminal outstanding warrants that included drugs, firearms, and sexual offenses.

During the operation, 36 individuals were arrested for 47 outstanding warrants. Three others were arrested for additional drug offenses. The bail amount for all suspects totaled $765,410. That number does not include the four suspects who had warrants with no bail.
