Weekend events with HPD

There are various events lined up tomorrow for the HPD. Come join us for our Aloha No Na Kupuna inside Kahala Mall near Longs Drugs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Folks 55 years and older will be able to get a "Kupuna" identification card that contains medical and emergency contact information. The Kupuna ID safety card is not an official government card. The ID can help emergency personnel identify a senior citizen who is lost, disoriented, or in need of medical assistance.

We're also giving and updating Keiki identification cards tomorrow. Come visit us at the Convoy of Hope event at the Kapolei Fairgrounds and Aloha Stadium. Gates open at 10 a.m. The HPD will also have one if its command vehicles there. Click Here for more information.

If you're in the mood to hit up Waikiki join us. HPD officers will be holding a Project C.L.E.A.N event from 8:00-11:00 a.m. HPD officers and several volunteers will be cleaning the first and second pavilions, closest to the Kuhio Beach Hula Mound, near the Duke Kahanamoku statue. Mayor Kirk Caldwell will also be assisting in the clean up.
