President Obama honors fallen officers

Honolulu Police Chief Louis Kealoha and Deputy Chief Dave Kajihiro attended the National Peace Officers Memorial Service this morning at 11 a.m. eastern standard time on the front lawn of the U.S. Capitol. President Barack Obama was the keynote speaker. He honored the families of the more than 140 officers killed in the line duty across the U.S. The families of HPD officers Garret Davis, Chad Morimoto, and Eric Fontes were also honored during the flower placement on the wreath ceremony.
