Description released of man wanted for assault

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department need the public's help locating witnesses or the suspect for an assault in the first degree that occurred on April 28, 2013, at approximately 5:00 a.m., on Kuhio Avenue.
The complainant was sitting on the sidewalk fronting 2260 Kuhio Avenue, when he was approached by an unknown male who struck the complainant and fled on foot in an unknown direction. A female witness flagged down an officer and was
able to give a description. The complainant was transported to the hospital and is in critical condition. The suspect is believed to be between 5'8" to 5'10" tall, and weighs around 160 pounds. He was wearing a gray t-shirt, plaid
shorts and a black cap.
