Failure to Render Aid Suspect Wanted


CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are asking for the public’s assistance in locating the driver of a vehicle that fled the scene of a motor vehicle collision, which occurred in the Pearl City area.

On Monday, January 13, 2020, at approximately 10:22 p.m., a 49-year-old pedestrian was walking northbound on Puu Poni Street heading towards Hoomalu Street when he was struck by a passing vehicle. The driver of the vehicle did not stop and fled the scene. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital for treatment of his injuries. The possible suspect vehicle may be a silver pickup truck or sports utility vehicle with a missing passenger side mirror.
