Ask HPD: Officers Visiting Schools

Question: I heard that HPD officers can visit schools to talk to students. How can I request them to visit my classroom?

Answer: Officers visit dozens of schools throughout the year to address multiple topics. Popular topics and services provided include the Say Hi and Keiki ID programs, traffic safety awareness, bullying and cyber bulling, and Career Day. The Honolulu Police Department's Community Affairs Division handles all speaker requests. To submit a request, visit our website (www.honolulupd.org). Click on "Community" and "Speaker Requests" to fill out an online form. All requests should be submitted at least four weeks prior to the date of the event. For additional questions, please call the Community Affairs Division at 723-3475.
