Honolulu Police Community Foundation Dinner

03/18/2013

The red carpet rolled out for the stars of Hawaii Five-0 and it was not for the latest premiere, but for a good cause. The Honolulu Police Community Foundation (HPCF), an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded by former Police Chief Lee Donohue, held its annual gala at the Sheraton Waikiki Resort & Hotel in March honoring the cast and production crew of Hawaii Five-0. The annual event is a fundraiser for the foundation which offers academic scholarships for students and has provided additional equipment to the Honolulu Police Department through its efforts. Local celebrities, City and State officials, private sector leaders, and a number of law enforcement agency members were on hand to support this worthy event.

HPCF was founded in 1997 to foster the relationship between the HPD and the community.
