Teenage boy goes missing in Waianae trail

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public's assistance in locating Richard Vierra Jr. who went hiking alone on July 5, 2014, at approximately 6:30 a.m., in the trails near his home on Ala Akau Street in Waianae. He called his mother at approximately 11:30 a.m., to say he was coming down, but has not been seen or heard from since.

Richard Vierra Jr. is 15-years-old. He's around 5'5" tall and weights 120 lbs. He has short reddish hair and brown hair. He was last seen wearing a dark blue shirt with white lettering, shorts, and a light blue backpack.
