Students and HPD officers sign wave for Safer Road

"Making Honolulu the safest place to live, work, and play" is Honolulu Police Chief Louis M. Kealoha's main goal and he needs the help of the community.

Last Friday, about 67 students from Stevenson Middle School in Honolulu helped spread his message. They braved the wet conditions and held signs--sending a message to drivers to be safe on the roadways.

HPD officers from D1 (Central Honolulu) Community Policing Teams helped sign wave as well. There will be various sign waving events held across Oahu.
