Traffic Enforcement Totals

District 1 conducted a Safer Roads operation at Punchbowl Street & South King Street and at South Hotel St. and Ft. Street Mall on February 22, 2013 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. 18 citations were issued of which 5 were for crossing a double solid line, 2 no insurance and 11 pedestrian violations.

District 3 officers conducted a Safer Roads operation (OVUII Roadblock) on February 17, 2013 at Kamehameha Hwy. & H-1 overpass. 34 citations were issued of which 12 were for expired safety, 6 expired tax, 1 no seat belt, 2 driving without license, 3 no insurance, 2 no front plate, 2 failure to surrender plate, 3 registration not in vehicle, and 3 recon permit.

D3 also conducted an operation on February 19, 2013 at the H-1 Freeway / Radford overpass. 8 citations were issued of which 4 were for a moving violation and 4 for the move over law.

District 4 officers conducted a Safer Roads operation on February 16, 2013 from 8 p.m. to midnight at Mokapu Saddle Rd. & Oneawa St. There was 1 arrest for having an open container in the vehicle, 1 driving without license citations and 2 miscellaneous violations.

The Traffic Division conducted a Safer Roads operation at the H-2 freeway / Mililani Town off ramp on February 20, 2013 from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. 65citations were issued of which 32 were for mobile electronic device, 15 seat belt, 1 child restraint, 1 no insurance, 1 driving without license, 2 miscellaneous and 13 for illegal tint.

The Traffic Division conducted a Safer Roads operation at S. King Street & Elise Ln. on February 21, 2013 from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. 44 citations were issued of which 32 were for vehicles failing to stop for pedestrians in crosswalk, 5 mobile electronic device, 1 child restraint, 2 driving without license, and 4 miscellaneous violations.
