NO, not at this time. The Honolulu Police Department does not accept official complaints or police reports by email.
To make a police report call 9-1-1 and inform the operator that it is a non-emergency and ask to speak with an officer.

The Honolulu Police Department does not accept police reports by email. If you need to make a police report for insurance purposes, we suggest contacting your local law enforcement agency. Please be as specific as possible about the scene.
Your agency will contact HPD for follow-up. It is difficult to conduct an investigation that is not reported immediately and more so if it is reported out-of-state.
Also note that HPD's jurisdiction is on the island of Oahu. Inform your local law enforcement agency if your scene was on Maui, Kauai, or the island of Hawaii.
To obtain a traffic abstract, you must apply in person at the Records and Identification Division at the main police station, 801 South Beretania Street, Honolulu, Hawaii.

Motor vehicle accident reports are available about 7 days after the accident. There is a fee.
See our web page regarding Hawaii's firearms laws. There is no 14 day waiting period for out-of-state registration. Once the firearm arrives in the state you have 3 calendar days to bring it in for registration. See the registration process.
The City and County of Honolulu does not recognize any outside jurisdiction's concealed weapons license.

HPD does not accept lateral transfers from other jurisdictions, even if they have a POST certificate.
In order to purchase a patch you must be affiliated with a law enforcement agency. You must provide a copy of your identification with that law enforcement agency, for example, a business card if available and a photocopy of your I.D.
There is a fee of $3.00 to defray the cost of the patch and mailing. Your remittance should be in the form of a U.S. postal or international money order payable to "City Director of Finance". We do not accept foreign monies, personal checks, or checks made payable to anyone else. You may purchase maximum of two patches. If you are interested in trading patches, please include your patch with the request instead of a check.

We do not have shirt or hat trading program within the department.
