1.5 Mile Run

PURPOSE

This test measures aerobic power.

EQUIPMENT

Any measured 1.5 mile flat surface, stopwatch, running shoes, and appropriate running attire.

PROCEDURES

  1. As with all physical tests, warm-up and stretching should precede testing.
  2. Participant should walk for 3-5 minutes immediately following test to cool-down. This is an important safety consideration.

STANDARD

21 minutes (or less)
