HPD PROGRAMS
DRUG URINALYSIS PROGRAM
The Human Resources Division coordinates the drug urinalysis program for the entire police department.
Police applicants, recruits, reserves, and police officers of all ranks are subject to mandatory and random drug testing. Anyone testing positive of an illicit drug is subject to termination.
HEPATITIS IMMUNIZATION PROGRAM
The Human Resources Division coordinates the hepatitis immunization program for the entire police department.
In an effort to protect all HPD employees, anyone that may have the slightest risk of being exposed to the hepatitis virus is able to obtain immunization shots at no charge to the employee.
