LABOR RELATIONS
The labor relations specialists coordinates and handles grievances of all collective bargaining agreements; represents the police department in quasi-judicial and appellate bodies relating to collective bargaining and grievance issues; appears before various labor boards, commissions, and committees; participates in the collective bargaining negotiations; assist in the development of administrative manuals; and advises department officials in the proper application of contract provisions.
Labor Relations is under the Human Resources Division in the Administrative Bureau.
Employees of the Honolulu Police Department are represented by various labor unions.
