The Honolulu Police Department's Communications Division is "dedicated to providing excellent service through partnerships" with the community we serve.

Your feedback, both positive and negative, allows us to examine and evaluate our performance as a public safety communications agency. Your opinions are valuable.

For each of the following statements, please rank your opinion from 1 to 5, 1 being the lowest and 5 being the highest. 9-1-1 CALLSCREENER SECTION The 9-1-1 callscreeners answer all 9-1-1 calls and transfer the calls to the appropriate emergency services agency (police, fire, ambulance, suicide crisis center, poison control center, military) requested by the caller. The following statement pertains to the callscreener function. The 911 call was answered in a reasonable time. LOW -- 1 2 3 4 5 -- HIGH The 9-1-1 callscreener responded in a courteous and professional manner. LOW -- 1 2 3 4 5 -- HIGH POLICE CALLTAKER SECTION Persons who dial 9-1-1 and ask for the "Police" are transferred by the callscreener to the police calltaker section. The police calltaker is responsible for determining what the caller needs and to dispatch the appropriate resources to the incident reported. The police calltaker answered in a reasonable time.
