Community Policing Team
The District 1 Community Policing/Weed and Seed Team have a mission to reduce crime, create safer neighborhoods, and improve the quality of life for residents. We achieve this by establishing collaborative partnerships with community stakeholders as well as other law enforcement and government agencies.
The District 1 Community Policing/Weed and Seed Team continue to be actively engaged in the community through various projects and community programs.

May 26, 2014 - Memorial Day Ceremony @ Punchbowl Cemetary, flower leis and American flags are placed on the graves to honor those who sacrificed their lives for our freedom.
May 26, 2014 - Lantern Floating Ceremony Shinnyo-en, which provides lanterns for people to float into the water. The floating lanterns represent the souls of the departed, and are a beautiful way for people to remember their loved ones on Memorial Day.
June 14, 2014 (9:00 a.m.) – The annual King Kamehameha Floral Parade and Ho`olaule`a. The parade starts at the corner of King and Richards Streets and ends at Kapiolani Park in Waikiki. Ho`olaule`a to follow.
