Youth Citizens Police Academy

The Youth Citizens Police Academy (YCPA) is a police department interactive program designed to educate young men and women about its department policies, operational procedures, and ways to reduce crime.

Graduates emerge with a new sense of understanding for their police department, and will be able to share their education and experiences with family, friends, and schoolmates.

Our goal is to educate and interact with the youth of our community, thus enhancing the relationship between them and their police officers.
