
The Honolulu Police Headquarters is a working facility and there may be times when a particular division cannot accommodate a tour. we appreciate your understanding.
Tours are conducted on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. except holidays. The maximum group size is 25.
If anyone on the tour requires extra assistance, please let us know in advance. However, additional assistance must be provided by requestor.
Parking around the station is limited. There is a metered Municipal parking Garage on the corner of South Beretania and Alapai Streets. A limited number of metered stalls are available on the lowest level of our Headquarters parking garage; access is from Hotel Street, behind the building.
Tours may be dropped off on either Hale Maka'i Street (Diamond Head of the building) or Hotel Street (makai of the building). The group will meet the tour guide in the Headquarters lobby on the Beretania Street side (mauka of the building). Tours may be picked up on Hotel Street when complete.
The Honolulu Police Department's law enforcement museum is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for individuals and groups.
Please submit request for guided tours for groups larger than 7.
School groups must be sixth-grade or older. An exception can be made for fifth-grade groups who request tours through their respective D.A.R.E. or J.P.O. officer.
Adult chaperones are required, and Students must wear footwear.
Please prepare students for the tour by emphasizing the need to speak quietly and walk carefully through Headquarters. There are many glass cases and valuable objects in the building and we do not want any injuries or property damage.
Any group that becomes too difficult for the officer and chaperones to handle will be asked to leave and escorted back to the bus.
