Building Partnerships
E Komo Mai, Welcome!
The task of the Community Affairs Section is to promote police citizen cooperation in the common cause of crime prevention, and improve the channels of communication and understanding between the police and the community.
We also strive to develop cooperative working relationships between the Honolulu Police Department and other law enforcement agencies. The Community Affairs Section will continue to be the conduit for police and community interactions that fosters trust, respect and understanding with a common goal, a safer community.
The Community Affairs Section would like to thank the community for their support in all of our efforts and hope that it continues during 2008.
Mission Statement:
We, the officers and employees of the Community Affairs Section, are committed to providing the highest level of support, assistance, and leadership to our internal and external communities. We will accomplish our goals through teamwork that embraces the principles of integrity, respect, and fairness.
